most successful reds in 2016<\/a><\/em><\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

OF ALL THE\u00a0reds, whites, ros\u00e9s, desserts and ports to receive very good reviews from one of the top panels<\/a><\/span><\/strong> locally or internationally in 2016, these rank as\u00a0South Africa\u2019s best value wines at under R100 a bottle \u2013 all highly rated, including some platinum award recipients, even some trophy\u00a0winners.<\/p>\n

The prices given below are those at the cellar door when surveyed during the\u00a0year or approximate retail prices in the case of wineries that are closed to the public \u2013 availability and pricing must be confirmed with the producers or retailers, as wines can sell out or increase in price after particularly good reviews.<\/p>\n
