The category: Best Food and Wine Matching Experience. And it's not the first time that they've achieved this accolade.<\/p>\n

The judges were impressed by the ranking of Pierneef\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/a>\u00e0 La Motte as one of the best restaurants in South Africa, showcasing Cape cuisine by way of pairings such as wine and venison or a ‘Taste of Terroir'\u00a0\u2013 a celebration of Sauvignon Blanc\u00a0\u2013 and with information provided in five languages. Strictly by appointment only.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Other wine producers among the SA\u00a0Top\u00a020<\/strong><\/span><\/a>\u00a0that also offer a food and wine matching experience include Groot<\/strong> <\/span><\/a>Constantia Estate (chocolate and wine), Paul<\/strong> <\/span><\/a>Cluver in Elgin and\u00a0Stellenrust<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, Stellenbosch. And of course, when it comes to pairings in the Cape winelands, Creation<\/strong> <\/span><\/a>on the Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge outside Hermanus are fairly famous for matching this with that.<\/p>\n
